Noontime Meals for the Elderly

To all Seniors 60 years of agen or older, you are invited to your local Senior Citizens Center to have lunch Monday through Friday. This meal provides the on-third RDA that is required by the federal government. Your income is not a factor when providing this meal. We suggest a $1.25 contribution per meal. Please call your local Senior Citizens Center at the number below to make a reservation a day ahead and find out what we are having on the menu: Perry County Senior Center, 931-589-5111; Lobelville Meal Site, 931-593-2814. Volunteers are desperately needed to deliver meals. If you could volunteer one hour a day or one hour per week, please call the above telephone numbers. We sincerely appreciate your support.

Senior Van Routes

The Senior Centers of Perry County have van routes in the county to take you to the centers for lunch or other activities. If you would like to ride the van, call 931-589-5111. The vans run five days a week; call and find out what day the van comes to your area of the county. Inside Linden city limits, the fare is $1.00 each way; outside the city limits, $2.00 each way.
