Linden Historical & Arts District

Murals, multi-media art, clay tiles, storefronts, even the trash cans are art in downtown Linden! The Linden Arts & Historic District features over a dozen pieces of public art all created in response to the area's history and natural beauty. Most of the artwork was created in a 2009 summer-youth worker and employment program that was funded by the American Recover & Reinvestment Act. The program, which drew national media attention, featured 11 resident artists & staffed 20 local youths, ages 14-24. 

So come visit us in Linden, and be sure to wear your walking shoes so you can stroll our downtown and see the beautiful artwork up close.
